Achilles Utilities Vendor Database

Sopra Group is registered on the Achilles Utilities Vendor Database™ (UVDB) – the supplier database used by the UK utility industry to source current and potential suppliers of major products, services and works. Registered Supplier Number 73991.

UVDB aims to provide and share supplier pre-qualification information to help reduce costs, time and administrative workload while increasing opportunities to both suppliers and utilities. The UVDB has been in operation since 1995 and is now used by over fifty utilities, covering electricity (including nuclear), water, gas and telecom sectors.

BCS & ISTQB

Sopra Group has a long history of development and successful delivery of high-quality public and in-house testing training across the UK and for our international clients. We are accredited by BCS Professional Certification (formerly ISEB) and by the UK Testing Board (UKTB) to provide courses for both the Certified Tester/Foundation and Advanced Level Certificates. The UKTB is the governing body within the United Kingdom representing the International Software Testing Qualifications Board (ISTQB). 

We are one of only four UK-based training providers accredited for all three of the advanced qualifications (Test Analyst, Test Manager and Technical Test Analyst) and the only one with a training base in Scotland. Through these accredited courses, Testing Masterclasses and other specialised courses we can meet your testing training needs.

CESG

Our expert consultants carry out IT security health checks to identify vulnerabilities in IT systems and networks which may compromise the confidentiality, integrity or availability of information held on that IT system. The IT Health Check Service, or CHECK, was developed to enhance the availability and quality of the IT health check services that are provided to government. Companies belonging to CHECK are measured against high standards set by CESG. Therefore, customers can be assured that they will receive a high-quality service if the work is carried out by our CHECK accredited consultants.

CLAS

CLAS is the Government's CESG Listed Adviser Scheme.

CLAS is a partnership linking the unique Information Assurance knowledge of CESG with the expertise and resources of the Private Sector. Our highly experienced consultants are part of the Scheme's pool of high-quality consultants approved by CESG to provide Information Assurance advice to government departments and other organisations who provide vital services for the United Kingdom.
