EuroSTAR is an international software testing conference, attracting delegates and speakers from all around the world. Last year in Stockholm over 1000 delegates, from 38 countries, attended the conference. This year EuroSTAR will be held at The Hague, Netherlands on 10th-13th November.
Ian Smith, Principal Consultant, and Robert Campbell, Senior Developer, will be speaking on the topic "Mobile Software Testing - Facing the Future Challenges" on Wednesday 12th November.
The session will take a look at the current mobile market and examine some of the trends driving changes in how we will build and test mobile systems. Some practical approaches employing commercial and open-source mobile test tools and supporting infrastructure will be presented.
Our Principal Testing Consultant, Graham Freeburn will also be speaking at EuroSTAR 2008 on the topic "Make Your Testing Smarter - Know Your Context!"
Graham's session is primarily aimed at people defining test strategies for organisations or making the decisions about the test processes used on projects, whether or not they are experienced, but it is open to all - the broader the range of experiences the better the model will be. After the conference those attending the session can, if they wish, join a working group to build on the output from the session.

Statistics suggest organisations are consistently failing to realise the expected cost-benefit of their IT implementations.
The Efficient Programme Delivery approach is all about minimising risk, increasing 'certainty of delivery' and maximising the organisational fit of your IT implementations, for a planned and minimum appropriate investment. Using this approach, investment in 'Quality Assurance' is minimal, budgeted and measurable, and technology change works in partnership with the business to support organisational change.
At the end of 2007 we held a number of Efficient Programme Delivery seminars. If you would like to receive a copy of the slides or talk to one of our experts about the topics covered contact us.
