As the media tends to report only on failed Public Sector IT contracts, we rarely get to hear about the many successful ones that are delivered across the Scottish Public Sector. 

This half-day forum, held in Edinburgh on 18th June, showcased some innovative and successful Public Sector IT projects as well as leading technologies.  Each story was covered in depth, including any unforeseen challenges encountered along the way.

The event also gave delegates the opportunity to network with Public Sector IT colleagues from across Scotland.

Irene Magill, Performance Analyst, Justice Analytical Services Division, the Scottish Government illustrated how providing timely information to criminal justice partners has helped improve the effectiveness of the criminal justice system.  The following points were covered:

• Technical infrastructure
• The website
• The importance of genuine user involvement
• Future plans.
