Pierre-Yves Commanay, Chief Executive Officer, Sopra Group UK

Pierre-Yves became CEO of Sopra Group UK in January 2009 and is based in London.  Having joined Sopra Group in 1991, he has worked from the company's Lyon, Paris and London offices as well as its Indian Offshore Delivery Centre.  Beginning in software product development, Pierre-Yves later became Head of Research & Development for Sopra Group's HR and Payroll software in Paris.  In 1998 he managed Sopra Group's entry into the UK market, starting with Axway's operations, a Sopra Group subsidiary and later moving to the Sopra Group Systems Integration business. 

Under his leadership Sopra Group acquired three UK companies by 2006.  In 2007 Pierre-Yves left the UK to head up the integration and industrialisation of Sopra Group's newly acquired Indian Offshore Delivery Centre in Delhi.  During his time in India he implemented the Group's Global Delivery Model and doubled the size of the Offshore Centre to 550 employees. 

Andrew Campbell, UK Divisional Director, Scotland and Northern Ireland

Andrew is a member of the Sopra Group senior management team and the Director responsible for Sopra Group's Scotland and Northern Ireland region.  Based in Edinburgh, he has over 20 years of experience in ICT, working in Edinburgh, London, Singapore and Hong Kong on major IT transformation projects across a number of industry sectors.

Andrew is a member of the Board of Scotland IS (the ICT Trade Body for Scotland) and also a member of the IT Governance Board of the National Museums of Scotland.

Bob Craig, UK Divisional Director, England

Bob is a member of the Sopra Group UK senior management team and the Director responsible for the England Division.  Based in London, Bob has over 25 years experience in the IT services business, the past 10 of which have been with Sopra Group.  He has operated in various capacities in the UK Group starting up a city office, dealing with required business reorganisations and integrating acquired businesses into the English operations.

Yvon Guilcher, UK Industrialisation Director

Yvon joined Sopra Group in 1995 where he worked in the South-east of France, alternating positions in fixed-price operations as project manager/director, and in Sopra Group management as Business Unit Quality Manager and Divisional Industrialisation Director. He joined Sopra Group UK in January 2011 as Industrialisation Director.

John Taylor, UK Director of Operations Support

John has over 25 years of leadership experience in the information technology sector where his main focus has been on the development of people strategies and their contribution to the success of the organisation.  He has held a variety of roles in Sopra Group (previously Newell & Budge) including Scottish Divisional Director before moving into his current position where he has responsibility for all of our Corporate Functions encompassing Human Resources, Finance, Legal and Internal IT.  His current priorities include the strategic direction of our UK policies and the delivery of  the operational aspects of these throughout the UK business.
