As such our staff are continuously challenged to develop high-quality IT solutions that help improve our clients' businesses. The impressive organic growth we have seen over the past 25+ years has only been achieved by successfully meeting these challenges.  Our growth continues and we are regularly looking to expand our centres across the UK and Ireland.

Investors In People

Sopra Group is recognised as 'Investors in People' (IiP).  This marks the organisation's approach and commitment to the continuous improvement of people processes and practices.  This manifests itself in a clear and consistent approach to the management and development of our people.

The IiP award is the national standard which sets the level of best practice for improving an organisation's performance through its employees. It shows that the organisation really considers its people as its most important asset and acts upon this belief.  In order to retain the award, we need to subject our organisation to a vigorous programme of inspection every three years.

Our approach is to be assessed each year against part of the Standard so that by the end of the three-year period we will have been assessed against the whole Standard.  In 2010, we successfully retained our IiP accreditation for a further 3 years.  This shows that we continue to meet the Standard in the areas of Management Effectiveness; Reward and Recognition; Involvement and Empowerment and Learning and Development.
