Sopra Group in the UK has been working with Indian offshore companies since 1998. Initially working through partners, we have expanded our business substantially and developed mature and proven methods of working our Totally Integrated Delivery Model. We now have our own Offshore Delivery Centre (ODC), who were one of the first software companies to attain CMM Level 5 status and are now CMMi v1.2 Level 5 accredited.
Our ODC focuses on well defined core competencies to ensure they are a fully integrated part of our proven delivery model. In this way, we guarantee successful outcomes that make the right business impact at the right cost.
Working with a UK partner who understands intimately the nuances of business for each client, sector and geography greatly reduces these impacts and mitigates the associated risks of decreases in productivity and project failure.
Our Offshore Delivery Centre provides strength and depth in technologies that underpin our three core Lines of Business: Application Outsourcing, Systems Integration and Testing.

We have extensive expertise and experience in Application Outsourcing and Systems Integration based around our core development technologies of JAVA, Microsoft .NET, Oracle, Websphere and SAP ABAP. This expertise has been galvanised in bespoke development projects, multi-year service contracts, major code migrations and replatforming exercises, with particular skills in creating and managing service oriented architectures.
We are also able to offer specialist "ring fenced" facilities for individual UK clients within our Indian operation. This can provide them with their own dedicated offshore delivery teams, trained to understand the detail of their business as well as key technology and architectural considerations. These teams are managed, trained and deployed by our UK delivery specialists.

Our ODC houses our Centre of Excellence for Software Testing, which gives us and our clients flexibility around the delivery of our complete suite of Testing Services. Our global teams receive the same training and work to the same methodologies, ensuring consistency of delivery and quality across the Group. This means clients can make use of the advantages of global delivery models, such as round the clock testing and cost advantages with confidence.
