Implementing A Test Strategy To Scale A Mortgage Book

Sopra Group was initially requested to supply testing expertise to assist a Bank setting up a key testing programme.  The specific assignment was to test the scaling and integration of the newly merged Bank's mortgage book.

During the analysis phase of the project, we worked in partnership with the programme planners to scope out the scale of testing required.  As a result, we put forward recommendations for modifications to the planned test strategy and to the phasing in of specific expertise.  Our recommendations were made to ensure delivery to integration deadlines and to provide efficiencies and overall cost savings in the programme.

The Bank subsequently awarded the overall testing assignment as a fully managed project to Sopra Group.

Our testing experts introduced new approaches to the overall test strategy ensuring not only that the integration exercise achieved its deadlines but also that significant cost and time savings were made over the Bank's initial plan.  Since then, we have gone on to provide managed testing services on a number of other major programmes related to integration, regulatory compliance and new product development and launch.
